My hair HATED shampoo bars and I was nervous to create them but after researching the things that are important in a shampoo bar I have come up with a formulation that I think is great, it feel just like regular shampoo but without the harsh chemicals, preservatives or waste.
This formulation is sulfate free. Sulfates are commonly used in cosmetics to cleanse and creat bubbles, but can also be stripping and drying. My formuation uses a mild cleanser (SCI) which creates a lovely lather but not at the expense of your hair. It's expensive to use in formulations, but I prioritise hair health over my bottom line.
Did you know that the main ingredient in bottle shampoo is actually water? It's crazy to me to package and transport water around the world/country for some unknown reason.
Swipe over roots of wet hair and massage to create lather before rinsing
